For centuries people have been trying to improve their lives and they have made tremendous progress. New inventions appear almost every day. Mobile phones, cars, household appliances - technology helps us in many ways making our lives easier, safer and more enjoyable. Some people, however, warn against the dangers of its uncontrolled development. Is technology a blessing or a curse?
It's obvious that technology improves our lives. The production of many goods is easier and time-saving. Thanks to planes and cars we can move at great pace and reach even the remotest destinations easily. What is more, Internet gives us unlimited possibilities breaking barriers and distance between humans. We have better opportunities to communicate, the world is becoming a global village and ideas spread in the blink of an eye. We cannot forget about medicine, banking, shopping, as these services are quicker and more effective than ever.
