Sport seems to be an indispensable component of a healthy lifestyle. You can take care of your diet, take supplements, give up smoking and sleep enough, but without excercises your struggles will fall through. Apart from keeping you fit, the great thing about physical activities is that they reduce stress. As the old expression goes 'Healthy body, healthy mind'. I would like to describe my favourite sports: jogging and yoga.
Jogging doesn't require much preparation and money so it's quite easy to take up. All you need is time, determination and good shoes. You can start with the shorter distance and after some time try to make it longer. The same goes with speed – you can adjust it to your own preferences. During jogging your mind can be totally absorbed in the activity itself. You don't have to think of anything else. Those who run regularly say that it relieves the tensions and helps to see the problems from other perspective.
Yoga is highly beneficial for our body and mind. It brings relaxation and helps one to regain a peace of mind. Practising yoga can be a really pleasurable thing. This is the activity for those who want to get away from it all and not to overdo themselves.
