My favourite film
My favourite film is the first part of 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy: 'The Fellowship of the Ring'. This is a fantasy movie directed by Peter Jackson and based on the three-volume book by J.R.R.Tolkien (of the same title). I love 'The Fellowship of the Ring' because of its magic and magnitude of the whole production.
Set in fictional World of Middle-Earth, the plot centres on the Ring which is the root of all evil and has to be destroyed. The challenge is undertaken by the hobbit Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood) and his companions. They have a serious enemy – The Lord Sauron who is ready to move heaven and earth to save the Ring. That is why Frodo and his friends have to fight countless obstacles until they accomplish their final goal.
Filming an imaginary world described by Tolkien wouldn’t be so simple without using the latest technology. Thanks to special effects we can fully take part in this spectacular story. Scenery, props, costumes, characters - they are all created with amazing attention to details. We are also able to admire realistic images of fantasy creations. Elves and their environment look so credible that one starts to question their fiction. Watching
