A well balanced diet is a secret of our well-being. The food we eat not only gives us energy but can also prevent many diseases. That’s why we should pay attention to our eating habits and choose healthy products.

The most important thing is to eat regularly. It is best to eat 5 small meals per day: breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper. Each meal should contain carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Nutritionists also recommend to increase the amount of fibre food, such as: fresh fruit, vegetables and wholemeal bread. When it comes to meat, we should select fish and lean meat. In order to function properly, our body also needs water. It is advised to drink at least eight glasses of water every day. Of course, it can be replaced to some extent with fruit juice and milk.

On the other hand, we should avoid fast food as it is very high in fat, cholesterol and calories. It is also recommended to cut down on sugar, salt, alcohol and coffee. Although chocolate tastes good and stimulates the production of endorphins, it is not healthy in large amounts. We also should not eat between meals and late at night.
